Job summary

Care Plus Employability Services deliver two strands under one service - Employability and Supported Employment.

Employability supports the worklessness agenda of Northern Lincolnshire, delivering a holistic approach to supporting unemployed people on a pathway to sustainable employment. They deliver various employability initiatives including voluntary work based learning, apprenticeships, and intermediate labour market opportunities. They aim to empower local people to become socially included within their communities, whilst also breaking down barriers to employment, as well as supporting Health and Social Care employers to recruit and grow their own workforce.

Main duties of the job

Marketing and Communications Assistant

22.5hours per week

Fixed Term (12 months)

Range 3 - £24,968 fixed point pro rata per annum

The postholder willwork with Employability Service to provide a marketing and communications service to promote the service, including recruitment and Employability initiatives, across North East Lincolnshire.

The post holder will assist in the development and improvement of Employability Services website and social media platforms, including promoting North East Lincolnshire Health and Care Partnership (HCP) Skills Pledge initiative and other Employability Services initiatives. The post holder will also undertake general administrative duties including preparing presentations, scheduling and servicing meetings.

For this role it is essential that you:

  • Hold Level 3 in computer applications or equivalent
  • Can demonstrate specialist knowledge and understanding of working on social media platforms
  • Are competent in Microsoft office including Word, Outlook & Excel
  • Have effective communication and organisational skills
  • Have effective customer care skills
