Job summary
The TB community service is a nurse led service identifying and proactively managing adults and children with a TB diagnosis. The role is embedded within the Open Door Primary Care Centre which specialises in offering those patients with highly complex lifestyles, including homelessness, alcohol and drug users and those who present with complex and challenging behaviours which have resulted in them being unable to access mainstream health care provision locally.

An opportunity has a risen for the role of Administrative Assistant to support the Local Nurse led TB Service. The TB service identifies and proactively manages adults and children with a TB diagnosis.
As the administrative assistant you will work under the direction of the Clinical Nurse Specialist and be required to undertake a range of administrative duties including liaising with patients for booking appointments and queries, diary management, writing letters, filing, photocopying and liaising with other professionals.
You will be required to utilise various range of IT systems including SystmOne .
To apply for this role you must have Level 3 or equivalent qualification in computer applications, or equivalent level of competence and/or Level 2 NVQ Business Administration.
Would be advantageous if you have previous experience of working in health care, but not essential.
In return you will be part of a team that provides support, training and flexible working.
