Job summary
The role of the Human Resources Team is to provide a prompt, effective
and efficient advisory HR service to staff and managers ensuring adherence to
policies and legislation whilst ensuring service needs are met.
The HR team are
responsible for supporting and advising on all aspects of employment including
managing sickness absence, disciplinary and grievance matters and are involved
in organisational change and review. The
team are also responsible for the provision of a recruitment and selection service
and writing and reviewing HR policies to ensure best practice and compliance
with legal requirements. The team also
works closely with CPGs payroll providers in the implementation of the full
range of payroll and pension services. Staff benefits are also co-ordinated and administered via the HR Team.

Salary Range 5 £26,823 - £33,676 - You will be appointed on a fixed salary
point
You will support
the HR team in the delivery of an effective and efficient, customer focussed
and professional HR service to the organisation. You will provide a generalist HR support role
and will focus specifically but not exclusively on all aspects of employee
relations work, recruitment and
selection, payroll and general advice, guidance and support to staff and
managers. There will be designated
responsibility for specific elements of work/projects and will deal with more
complex queries and support to managers and staff
You will have experience of dealing with HR related issues, providing advice and guidance on employment related matters and of supervising staff. You will provide
specialist advice and support to Care Plus Group and you will have supervisory
responsibility for designated members of the HR team.
It is essential that you have knowledge of employment law, conditions of service and best practice
and their interpretation/application and ability to research as required. You must have effective organisational skills
and the ability to understand complex information and be able to present this
clearly and concisely.
