The Adult Neurodiversity Services (ANDS)
includes: Learning Disability (LD) Psychological Therapy Service to support the
mental health needs of learning disabled individuals; an Intensive Support Team
(IST) to support individuals with complex needs and behaviours of concern; a
Community Learning Disability Team (CLDT) to support the physical health of
Learning Disabled adults and Carers Support needs; an Adult Autism Service
(AAS) and ADHD Service, which provides both diagnostic assessments and a full
range of post-diagnostic support; and a Forensic Outreach Liaison Service
(FOLS) to support Autistic and/or Learning Disabled adults at risk of offending
or have an offending history to live safely in their local community.
All our Adult Neurodiversity Services follow a
proven person-centred, needs-led approach to delivering support to individuals,
their families, carers, supporters and other services and professionals
involved in their care.The Care Plus Groups Adult Neurodiversity
Services work in collaboration and in partnership with other local health and
social care providers, including Navigo and The Faraway CIC, a Peer-Led
Organisation, to deliver co-produced statutory, User-Led and Peer-to-Peer
Support services to North East Lincolnshire and across the Humber York and
North Yorkshire Integrated Care System (ICS) area, which comprises of six
areas: Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, North Lincolnshire, North East
Lincolnshire, York and North Yorkshire.

This is a rare and
exciting opportunity to join a friendly, dynamic, innovative specialist team of
people who are passionate about meeting the needs of neurodivergent
adults. The successful candidate will be
a practising qualified professional in the field of Learning Disability and/or
Autism and will work in partnership with the Adult Neurodiversity Services
Clinical Director to ensure a consistent approach to the delivery of the Adult
Neurodiversity Services in North East Lincolnshire. The post holder will supervise staff within
the areas identified, provide professional input where appropriate, leadership,
managerial support and guidance ensuring these services meet the Care Quality
Commission Essential Standards. The Post
holder will provide support on financial/budget monitoring and recruitment for
service areas; and will provide dedicated professional and operational support
in the development, implementation, and review of new and existing Adult Neurodiversity
Services for the Care Plus Group.

- Minimum 5 years experience of working with Adults with Learning Disabilities, Autistic Adults and or Adults with ADHD presenting with the full range of clinical severity across a range of care settings including inpatient, community, primary care, supported living and residential care settings.
- Experience of maintaining a high degree of professionalism in the face of highly emotive and distressing problems, verbal abuse, and the threat of physical abuse.
- Experience of management or leadership position in health or social care setting.
- Experience of working in multi-professional teams or services within the field of Adult Learning Disabilities, Autism and or Adult ADHD.
- Experience of service review and development.
- Experience of providing service-user led services.
