Main duties of the job
What You'll Do:
- Lead and Inspire: Manage and mentor the L&D team, fostering an environment of creativity and collaboration.
- Plan and Coordinate: Plan and implement a comprehensive range of learning and development courses and events that aligns with our organisational goals and objectives.
- Program Development: Design and source innovative training programs, workshops, and e-learning courses to enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees.
- Performance Improvement: Use data-driven insights to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make continuous improvements.
- Culture Champion: Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development throughout the organisation.
- Experience: Experience of working in a Learning and Development team with knowledge of the apprentice levy, commissioning courses and managing organisational training needs.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills. Expertise in training record platforms (ideally ESR OLM), NHS training pathways, adult learning principles, and managing apprenticeship courses.
