Main duties of the job
On top of that, we offer 32 days' annual leave, the full eight days bank holidays, and up to 10 days' study leave per annum (full time equivalent). As an out of hours service, you would be expected to work your share of bank holiday sessions, but these are remunerated at an increased rate. All in all, I feel this is a highly competitive package.

Job description
Job responsibilities
We work hard with potential new recruits to agree a regular timetable, such that they work the same days and the same times each week. The MedOCC sessions can be in-hours (which we take to be between 7:00am and 7:00pm) or evenings, weekends or overnights by mutual agreement with the pay being significantly higher for the out of hours sessions. We do encourage our team members to contribute regular out of hours shifts as part of their set rota. The rota is mutually agreed in line with where the service need is greatest in the first instance, personal circumstance and flexibility is however considered.
Should you join our salaried team, you would also be most welcome to sign up for as many or as few additional MedOCC out of hours sessions as you wished (subject to working time directive limits), either on a regular or occasional basis. Our salaried team get first choice of such availability. This would be agreed as overtime once WTE hours have been completed at basic rate. If you wish to apply for a purely zero hours role, please do so as you too are most welcome.
Flexibank hours are also available for this job role. If you wish to apply for zero hours please specify this in your application. This will be further discussed at interview.
