Main duties of the job

We are looking for continence nurse associates, to work as a member of the community nursing service, under the direction of the clinical lead for continence, in conjunction with the clinical nurse manager, providing effective holistic nursing care to patients in community settings. The community nursing service provides nursing care over a 24-hour period, 365 days/year.

You will promote continence and provide specialist assessment and diagnostic intervention enabling treatment and management packages of care for patients with bladder and bowel dysfunction.

To maintain core clinical skills in order to support community nursing with its care delivery.
