We have a rare opportunity for dentists to join our team in providing dental care for patients with special or priority needs who are without current access to appropriate NHS dental care.
Main duties of the job
- To be responsible for the provision of professional and efficient dental care of patients as required by the service.
- The post holder will provide appropriate NHS dental care for patients with special needs, those referred into the service by their General Dental Practitioner or other identified Healthcare Professional and for those where there is evidence that they would not otherwise receive dental care.
- The Primary Care Salaried Dentist (PCSD) will undertake the necessary administrative and management tasks as directed by the Clinical lead of Dental services.
- To work in all aspects of the post to a level of competency as outlined in the national Salaried Primary Dental Care Services Summary Agreement January 2018 .
