Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Cedars at Grace Anderson Ward Teddington Memorial Hospital for applicants to apply to join our team of Bank Clinical Support Workers.

Cedars at Grace Anderson Ward provides a 25-bedded rehabilitation in-patient unit at Teddington Memorial Hospital providing care to adults over 18 years of age. The focus is on providing quality care to patients using a multi-disciplinary team approach.

We are currently entering a new and exciting challenge, taking forward community-based care as well as in-patient care and so you will need to be flexible and willing to develop as the service changes and evolves.

The Clinical Support Worker will undertake a variety of tasks, including providing flexible cover to the wards across Cedars Unit, assisting with all aspects of personal care following patients care plans, undertaking patient observations such as blood pressure, temperature and pulse and recording on computerised system.

You will assist with supporting patients with eating and drinking when required and serve meals and snacks, providing direct patient care under the supervision of a trained nurse and assisting patients with their rehabilitation goals with supervision of a trained nurse
