Job summary

The Kingston Community Neurohabilitation Team are looking for a highly motivated Band 7 Physiotherapist, to join this established service based at Hollyfield House, Hollyfield Road, Surbiton. The team deliver comprehensive, neurological rehabilitation packages to patients in the Kingston Borough, including Early Supported Discharge for Stroke and a wide range of Long Term Neurological Conditions (e.g. MS, PD, MND etc.). Furthermore the team will be delivering their service in combination with other NHS and 3rd Sector organisations.

Main duties of the job

This is an exciting opportunity to enhance and develop your expertise within an established and experienced neuro rehabilitation service. The successful candidate will need proven advanced clinical skills in neurological rehabilitation and demonstrate the ability to thrive in a changing environment and be forward thinking. The post holder is expected to provide clinical leadership and clinical supervision to the physiotherapy team, and participate in clinical leadership activity for the service. They also must have clinical experience working in the community with a neurological caseload with up-to-date knowledge of the key developments in the field of Physiotherapy and neurological rehabilitation.
