Your Healthcare CIC

Bank Rapid Response Practitioner Band 7

The closing date is 29 June 2025

Job summary

We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced nurse or allied-health professionals to join us as bank clinicians and work autonomously in the community. This is an opportunity to use advanced clinical skills, including physical assessment, clinical decision making and differential diagnosis for a range of common acute and chronic conditions.

Applicants who are not currently in a Band 7 role will be considered based on experience and qualifications.

The community rapid response team is part of the 2-hour Urgent Community Response service. This is an admission avoidance service for people in the community experiencing a sudden deterioration in health and wellbeing, and gives an opportunity to gain experience with a wide range of clinical presentations.

Main duties of the job

This is a bank post and hours will depend on service need and clinician availability. The usual working hours are 7.5h shifts between the hours of 0800 and 2000, 7 days a week. This role may be required to work weekends.

You will be mostly based at Hollyfield House although you will also need to be able to travel to our other sites as needed and to community visits.

We encourage you to discuss your flexibility needs with us before applying or during the interview process. While we may not be able to meet every request exactly, we promise to fully consider your needs and accommodate them where possible. Please note that flexible working options may vary depending on the role.
