Job summary
We are looking for enthusiastic and
experienced nurse or allied-health professionals to join us as bank clinicians
and work autonomously in the community. This is an opportunity to use advanced
clinical skills, including physical assessment, clinical decision making and
differential diagnosis for a range of common acute and chronic conditions.
Applicants
who are not currently in a Band 7 role will be considered based on experience
and qualifications.
The community rapid response team is part of the 2-hour Urgent Community Response service. This is an admission avoidance service for people in the community experiencing a sudden deterioration in health and wellbeing, and gives an opportunity to gain experience with a wide range of clinical presentations.
Main duties of the job
This is a bank post and hours will
depend on service need and clinician availability. The usual working hours are
7.5h shifts between the hours of 0800 and 2000, 7 days a week. This role may be
required to work weekends.
You will be mostly based at Hollyfield
House although you will also need to be able to travel to our other sites as
needed and to community visits.
