Job summary
AHP Suffolk is a social enterprise
providing NHS Musculoskeletal services across Suffolk.
We have an opportunity to welcome a
clinician to our organisation working as a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist,
in a permanent, full time, band 7 position. You will be based across clinics in the Ipswich area.
You will be helping to support our
clinicians in managing complex patients as an autonomous, highly specialist physio. This will involve joint/problem solving
sessions and also providing clinics for further assessment and management of
highly complex cases. You may hold a
small caseload yourself and also assist with various triage duties.
You will be working to develop more
junior colleagues knowledge and skills; leading in-service training programs and
helping to create best practice guidelines and clinical pathways. You will be working alongside colleagues in
the Clinical Leadership Team in completing clinical audits to ensure there is
necessary governance in place and that we are continuously striving to improve
our clinical practice.
As a member of our team, you will
develop your own clinical skills with access to internal and external training
courses and also working alongside Advanced Practitioners and the Clinical
Leadership Team who will help to support you.

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Development
and delivery of high quality service within Physiotherapy.
Assessment
and management of complex patients.
Develop
opportunities for practice which extends the scope traditional Physiotherapy.
Training
and support of Physiotherapists and support staff to deliver high quality,
evidence-based service provision.
Governance
arrangements within physiotherapy.

We have developed and run a successful web based self referral platform and single point of referral for secondary care, and offer virtual and face to face clinical appointments, exercise classes and 121 rehabilitation.
