Job summary
Yate Minor injuries unit is a busy department helping service users in the local community. The purpose of the role is to work with patients, carers, staff and visitors at the reception and outpatients desk and/or via the telephone, working in a professional and approachable way. The service is open 8am until 8pm, 7 days a week (including bank holidays). Flexible working is required.
You will be required:-
To greet and receive patients, carers and visitors
To make and receive telephone calls, take accurate messages and relay in a timely fashion.
To be responsible for checking in service users and booking follow up appointments
To use Community Electronic systems i.e. LORENZO, EMIS, ICE, CRIS and provide general administration support when required for clinical teams.
To act as a Fire Marshall/First Aider for the base when on duty, full training will be given
