Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for Senior Administrators to join our team. We have been identified by the ICB to be the health representative within reviewed MASH arrangements across BNSSG. Additionally, in collaboration with the Community Paediatric Team, we are developing a revised approach to engaging with multi-agency child protection strategy discussions. This is culminating in the development of a Single Point of Access / Front Door model for all safeguarding concerns / requests from statutory partners using a delegated framework.

To assist us in this work we are looking to recruit Senior Administrators who can work alongside the nursing and paediatric team to deliver this. The Senior Administrator will provide an essential administrative support and enable the whole Safeguarding team to carry out these duties and the wider day to day function including MARAC, MASH, team and multiagency meetings, Audits and case reviews.

These post with be predominately supporting the MASH admin functions alongside the Specialist safeguarding nurses. x1 post will be aligned with the Bristol Safeguarding Team x1 post aligned with the North Somerset and South Gloucestershire safeguarding teams.

Main duties of the job

As a senior administrator you will be key to the day-to-day functioning of the Safeguarding Single Point of Access team and workstreams across safeguarding. Working alongside Safeguarding nurses and Community Paediatricians. You will support, lead and manage the work of other members of the administrative team. These line management duties will include responsibility for training and mentoring new staff and existing colleagues. You will have negotiation skills to engage others to achieve results. Within your role you may be required to lead small projects. As a senior member of the administrative team, you will assist in planning and maintaining adequate staffing levels, including recruitment. You will also play a key role in supporting the whole safeguarding team, Named leads and Head of Safeguarding

This role is hybrid with travel across all our locations, so a driving licence and access to a vehicle will be required.
