Job summary

If you looking to expand or consolidate your Physiotherapy skills with Children with complex needs then this is the job for you! We have an opportunity for a Band 7 within BNSSG, predominantly based in the East Central Bristol Team working in the community with the team based at Eastgate House.

You will work closely within a Multidisciplinary team including Physio, OT, Speech and Language Therapists and Paediatricians managing all aspects of a child's Physiotherapy care with opportunities to develop your skills in postural management, specialist equipment and early intervention.

This is a part time role for 22.5 hours a week. Your working days must include a Wednesday due to service requirements.

Main duties of the job

Your responsibilities will include;

  • Holding a community caseload and completing new assessments of children with a variety of conditions.
  • Involvement with Early years complex needs assessments along side Paediatricians', OT , SLT
  • Working within an MDT both within schools and in the community.
  • Providing support and supervision to the other members of the Physiotherapy team including Band 5 and 6 Physiotherapists, Band 4 Technicians and Physiotherapy Students.
  • To be actively involved in the development of the service alongside the Professional Lead.
