NST Coordinator

The closing date is 27 March 2026

Job summary

Join our new Neurodiversity Support Team and play a key role in helping schools across BNSSG better understand and support neurodivergent children and young people.

We are looking for Coordinators to join this developing team and help shape a new way of supporting neurodivergent children and young people across the region!

The Neurodiversity Support Team is a multidisciplinary clinical service working in partnership with education settings to deliver high-quality Neurodivergent Needs Analyses. The team provides expert guidance, consultation and quality assurance to ensure needs profiles are consistent, meaningful and impactful.

As part of a system-wide programme, the service is introducing Neurodivergent Needs Analysis across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG). The team works closely with schools across the region, providing training, consultation and practical support to help them better understand and respond to the needs of neurodivergent children and young people.

The service champions early intervention and a needs-led approach, focusing on each child or young person's strengths and challenges rather than diagnostic labels.

Main duties of the job

As the NST Coordinator, you will provide high-quality administrative and coordination support to the Neurodiversity Support Service, helping ensure the smooth delivery of Neurodivergent Needs Analyses, training and communication with families, education settings and partner organisations.

Working closely with the wider team, you will play an important role in supporting efficient, well-organised service processes and ensuring information is managed accurately and securely.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating administrative processes to support day-to-day service delivery

  • Arranging meetings, training sessions and service activities

  • Acting as a point of contact for families, schools and partner organisations

  • Managing enquiries and supporting clear communication across the service

  • Maintaining accurate records and managing information in line with organisational standards

  • Supporting the organisation and coordination of Neurodivergent Needs Analyses

  • Contributing to efficient, inclusive and responsive service processes

  • Upholding confidentiality, safeguarding procedures and professional standards
