Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Professional Lead for Speech and Language Therapy to join the Children's Speech and Language Therapy Service across BNSSG.
As the Professional Lead for Speech and Language Therapy, you will oversee and guide the speech and language therapy team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic services. Your leadership will drive the development and implementation of clinical practices, contribute to strategic planning, and enhance the overall effectiveness of our children's speech and language therapy services.

Main duties of the job
- Leadership & Management: Lead and mentor a team of speech and language therapists, providing support and guidance to ensure professional development and high standards of practice.
- Clinical Excellence: Oversee the delivery of speech and language therapy services, ensuring they meet the highest clinical standards and are tailored to the needs of clients.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the strategic planning and development of speech and language therapy services, aligning them with organisational goals and client needs.
- Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance measures to evaluate the effectiveness of therapy interventions and improve service delivery.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, educators, and stakeholders to provide integrated care and support for clients.
- Research & Development: Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in speech and language therapy and incorporate evidence-based practices into service delivery.
