Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the existing Mandatory Training Team in the role of a Bank Resuscitation Trainer.
The successful candidate will have experience of direct patient care, a passion for high quality moving and handling and a teaching/training qualification or willingness to work towards one.
You will be delivering basic life support training to staff, bringing your passion for teaching and your desire to make a meaningful impact in our community.
This will include training in the classroom as well as training and support within the workplace
Main duties of the job
- Be involved in the delivery of basic life support training to the workforce at all levels which will include physically demonstrating various pieces of equipment and techniques. This will include demonstrating CPR at ground level.
- To be responsible for delivering and evaluating an efficient and effective Mandatory and Statutory training programme to all staff.
- Working with administrative colleagues to contribute to the effective timetabling and running of the Mandatory and Statutory training at Sirona sites and a range of external community venues, attending in person wherever possible, ensuring staff are welcomed and the training sessions run smoothly
Please be aware: you will need to undertake at least one shift within a three-month rolling period to remain on the bank.
