Job summary

Sirona care & health are looking for a strategic leader to oversee a complex portfolio of Adult Services across BNSSG. This senior role will lead on all contracts and performance submissions to commissioning partners, driving quality, compliance and value for money while delivering against organisational priorities. Providing senior leadership to Associate Directors and operational managers across three geographies, the post holder will champion excellence in operational delivery, embed innovative solutions and represent Sirona externally at Board level.

Main duties of the job

  • Lead and submit the monthly, quarterly and annual contractual submissions to fulfil all contractual requirements identifying opportunities for improved value for money, quality and performance within the context of the adult service's strategic plans.
  • Lead the Planning and work closely with other Business Management Teams and take responsibility for large programmes of work across the organisation, ensuring successful outcomes and transformation.
  • Working closely with the Associate Directors of Adult Services and key senior leads to develop the annual business plan ensuring it aligns to Sirona's strategic objectives.
  • Lead the data collections and quality narrative returns from service leads and oversee the BI analysis to submit contractual formal submissions to our commissioning partners and the Board.
  • Develop, lead, and support individuals within the team to ensure that a highly skilled, effective, engaged and highly motivated workforce is in place
  • Work in partnership with the Associate Directors of Adult Services and BI leadership teams to clarify, translate and describe strategies that will support transformation and achievement of change
  • Build constructive and effective relationships with colleagues at all levels across the BNSSG system; effectively utilise relationships and informal networks to successfully achieve delivery of our Business Plan, operational targets; share knowledge and build relationships to enable change to be achieved

  • Extensive knowledge of specialist areas related to adult community services with evidence of post qualifying and continuing professional development gained through post graduate qualifications or equivalent experience or training
  • Qualification in programme/project and/or change management/transformation
  • Sound understanding of the background and aims of current health and social care policy

  • Experience working at Senior level
  • Ability to demonstrate previous experience of leading successful change programmes in large/complex organisations
  • Experience of managing complex projects
  • Ability to provide and receive highly complex, sensitive or contentious information, negotiate with senior stakeholders on difficult and controversial issues and present complex and sensitive information to large and influential groups

  • Knowledge of local, national, strategic and operational policy developments and an awareness of their implications.
  • Understanding of the interfaces between Primary Care, Community Care, Acute Care, Local Authorities and the Voluntary, Charitable and Social Enterprise Sector (VCSE).
