Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for an Administrator to work within the Long COVID and Tuberculosis services alongside our existing Administration and Clinical team to support in the delivery of care to patients with long-term health conditions.
We're proud to provide first-class services to our patient group by managing referral pathways, bookings and diaries for the team. As a dynamic and forward thinking team, we aim to work creatively in order to innovate service development both within the admin team and the wider organisation.
You'll have the chance to develop and utilise your excellent communication skills, liaising both within the team and externally when helping clients with a very diverse set of needs.

This is a full time position, working 37.5 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
Key Duties:
- Administration of the referral management processes into the services
- Administration for the pathways from assessment to discharge for the services
- Uploading documents to EMIS.
- Inputting into clinical systems e.g. EMIS
- Managing diaries and appointment systems
- Advising service users on the services offered, supporting patient choice through information and basic motivational interviewing skills
- Dealing with telephone enquiries from Service Users, carers and staff from other agencies who may be distressed or have communication difficulties
- Providing support for senior administrators and other administrators within department
- To be able to use the relevant computer systems, to input and retrieve service user information
- Take minutes and type formal minutes from given, audio or copy.
- Production of resources and letters
- Data input and maintaining spreadsheets
- Ordering of office supplies
