Sirona are currently recruiting an Operational Service Lead to join our dedicated team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our Childrens community services.

Sirona are looking for a committed Operational Service Lead to work across BNSSG Childrens Services. The successful candidate will work closely with the Operations Manager, Clinical Lead and Allied Health professional under a triumvirate structure supporting all elements of Operational delivery. You will be responsible for providing performance and assurance oversight for your respective services as well as line management of admin teams. This role will primarily supporting the community therapies teams consisting of Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Specialist Health Advisors for SEND & Early Years Support Practitioners.

Main duties of the job

Performance Monitoring: Oversee key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor service performance. Regularly evaluate and analyse data to identify trends, challenges, and areas for improvement, taking corrective actions as necessary.

Operational Leadership: Take charge of the day-to-day operational management of administration services, ensuring efficient workflows, and seamless service delivery. Lead by example to inspire and motivate the team to achieve excellence.

Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to healthcare standards, policies, and regulations. Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to uphold high standards of care, patient safety, and satisfaction.

Service Improvement: Identify opportunities for service enhancement and implement innovative solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that improve patient outcomes, experience, and operational efficiency.

Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and cultivate effective communication channels including clinical, administration staff and corporate partners. Collaborate with relevant parties to streamline processes and enhance service delivery.

Change Management: Lead the implementation of organisational change initiatives. Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement, driving positive transformations within services.

  • A degree in healthcare management, business administration, or a related field.

Desirable

  • Studying towards or holds a post graduate qualification such as Masters degree in area of expertise or management
  • Willingness to undertake training required of the role as appropriate; such as Operational management
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management & Health and Social Care

Experience

Essential

  • Previous experience working in a Health and or Social Care Community setting and or other relevant multi- disciplinary environment of a similar size and complexity.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of healthcare policies, regulations, and quality standards.
  • Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Demonstrates excellent problem solving and decision making skills and evidences ability to make informed decisions whilst considering wider organisational impacts.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to think creatively and analytically to manage competing priorities and busy workloads, and ensure both smooth operational running of the locality services with the ability to develop them further.
