Sirona care & health are looking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic Band 6 MSK physiotherapist who will deliver a high quality service and thrive on the opportunities this post offers. The successful candidate will excel in musculoskeletal physiotherapy assessment and diagnosis and deliver evidence-based treatment plans for patients with complex and diverse presentations. The post will benefit from being fully integrated in the wider MSK pathway which includes first contact practitioners, interface service and secondary care.

As a senior MSK physiotherapist you will also be involved in training and developing junior staff and contributing to our governance framework, including audits and research.

This role is a fixed term contract until the end of the financial year, working 27.5 hours per week.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will work as an autonomous practitioner within the MSK Physiotherapy Service to provide comprehensive assessment, clinical diagnosis, design and delivery of evidence-based treatment plans for patients with complex and diverse presentations. This includes the responsibility to seek advice as necessary from the MSK Physiotherapy Leads and Interface service.

As a senior physiotherapist, the post holder will also be responsible for supporting junior physiotherapists, physiotherapy assistants and students. This may be through line management, clinical mentorship, delivery of training, and acting as a student placement educator. There will also be the opportunity to be involved in service evaluation and development activities, to ensure the MSK Physiotherapy service is delivery effective, efficient, and high-quality care.

The post holder will be motivated to continue developing their MSK knowledge and skills; proactively working to consolidate and develop skills to an advanced level.
