Health Care Assistant - Evenings (18:00-23:00)

Job summary

Are you wanting to start or develop your career providing NHS care to patients in their own homes? Does working evening shifts suit your work-life balance? If so, an opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Health Care Assistant within the District Nursing Service to work 4 evening shifts (18.00-23.00) a week.

You will provide nursing care to patients in the community setting under the direction of a qualified nurse. The District Nursing service operates seven days a week including bank holidays to provide quality nursing care to patients in their own homes.

Due to the nature of the role it is essential that you are able to drive, have a car suitable for business purposes, and hold a clean driving licence.

Main duties of the job

You will provide nursing care to patients with varying needs in the community.

You will need to work independently within a team structure, and will possess excellent communication skills, be enthusiastic, and demonstrate a flexible approach to work.
