First
Community Health and Care are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic person
to manage and lead a team of 19 dietitians, dietetic assistants and
administrators delivering adult and childrens services across east Surrey
and parts of West Sussex.
The post
holder will need to have excellent communication skills and demonstrable
skills in clinical supervision and line management.
You will
support the team to continue to deliver excellent patient care based on the
needs of the local community.
The post holder will be supported to formulate
the operational delivery plans and strategic direction of the service considering
the opportunities within the primary care networks, neighbourhoods and the
wider system.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and develop the First
Community dietetic service with a friendly, supportive and innovative team of
dietitians.
This role can be full time (1 WTE) or part time (0.8 WTE).
Main duties of the job
The post
holder will be responsible for operational management, leadership and support
to the staff within First Dietitians.
They will lead on the strategic planning
and service development within the wider dietetic department.
They will
lead on strategic development, operational policy, business development and
transformational opportunities involving nutrition and dietetics for First
Community Health & Care.
They will lead on aspects of clinical training of
dietitians, student dietitians and other healthcare professionals.
They will
manage a service which operates into West Sussex, as well as east Surrey along
with any other current contracted activity ensuring the provision of high
quality and effective care from First Dietitians.
The post
holder will be responsible for ensuring that CQC regulations are adhered to.
They
will also be required to participate in the Operational Manager on call
rota.

Desirable
- BSc (Hons) Nutrition & Dietetics or equivalent.
- HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) Registration.

- Management qualification or previous management experience.
- Working towards or completed a relevant Masters level (or equivalent) degree/course.
