Job summary
Neighbourhood
navigation (social prescribing) is an exciting NEW service for East Surrey, enabling GPs, nurses, other health and care, and social professionals to refer
or recommend people into a range of local, non-clinical community-based
services across the Joy platform.
The
administrator role will form a key part of the new team delivering this new
service. We would love to hear from you if you are a passionate, organised, and
a community-minded individual, with a strong background in providing admin
support for a team or individuals.
The
admin role will be a key role within the team and you will be juggling a varied
workload with often competing deadlines. You will work alongside the navigators
and respond to patient enquiries so excellent communication skills are a
necessity.
Interview Dates: 1 or 9 September 2025.
Main duties of the job
The
administrator role will have an interesting and varied workload. Working as the
first point of contact for the new service and helping patients with any
enquiries. You will also be supporting the team
of navigators and help with informing community groups and local support about
the new service.
You
will be working within the neighbourhood teams to provide information or
answering any queries that they may have. You must be an effective team member
but also be able to work on your own and use your initiative, to resolve
problems with minimal supervision and have strong attention to detail.
