Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 3 HCA to join a team of happy and enthusiastic staff at the Minor Injury Unit at Caterham Dene Hospital.
The Caterham Minor Injury Unit is situated at Caterham Dene Community Hospital the unit is nurse-led, providing a service for the treatment of patients presenting with minor injuries and minor medical conditions. It is open 365 days a year from 8am to 8pm.
The post is full time but we would consider a job share.

Main duties of the job
The successful applicant must have experience in wound dressing and management, performing patient observations including neurological observations and diagnostic testing.
Ideally you will have skills in applying all types of splints, including basic casting and various supports and treatments for patients.
We have a wound dressing clinic that offers follow up dressing appointments from MIU and sees patients that Practice Nurses are unable to give an appointment to.
