Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join a very dynamic team. Complex Wound clinic is seeking for 3 Health Care Assistant (Band 3) to join their amazing team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, flexible candidate to join our dedicated team of nurses to provide high quality nursing care to patients within our clinics.

The successful candidate will support and work autonomously in the Complex Wound clinics across the North West Surrey, providing holistic assessments within scope of practice, escalate concerns to Complex Wound Nurse, support in maintaining own and others health, safety and security and contribute with ideas to improve service. This post is based in Weybridge and Chertsey.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate needs to be a good communicator, enthusiastic and innovative. It will be required to perform a variety of health care assistant activities in the community setting and will work without direct supervision but under the direction of a Complex Wound Nurse. This candidate will ensure that all relevant policy, protocols, guidelines, and Standard Operating Procedures are followed. The candidate will have health care assistant skills and knowledge in wound care including in Doppler assessments and compression therapy (training will be given)and to be able to work methodically and independently whilst being a good team player.

Principal duties to include:
