- This is an exciting administrative opportunity to join our friendly Learning and Development (L&D) team supporting our clinical colleagues in the delivery of community healthcare services.

Main duties of the job
- This role is to provide ESR/OLM administration, advice, support and guidance ensuring all training related ESR data is recorded and maintained accurately.
- Responsibility for the advanced co-ordination and planning of agreed Statutory and Mandatary training and other relevant training as advised by line manager and senior L&D team
- Work within agreed process for compiling register of attendance to be reviewed and updated regularly and shared with course facilitators.
- Work with system lead within People Services to ensure that the workforce establishment in-post position code is accurately able to reflect training requirements.
- As a member of the L&D team, work effectively contributing to ensure key L&D deliverables are met by co-ordinating and providing administrative support functions in line with all processes.
- In partnership with People Services recruitment and the senior L&D team be responsible for the co-ordination and implementation of corporate induction and associated processes.
- Working with Learning Environment Lead (LEL) be responsibility for the scoping, co-ordinating & planning of identified specialist training and support for staff, including new projects or BAU.

Principal duties to include:
- Provide operational systems administrative support for CSH ESR /OLM functionality. Be responsible for ensuring the maintenance of the ESR database and the integrity of the data held.
- Working with line manager to agree and ensure the content of the ESR/OLM training database (TNA) is regularly monitored and reviewed to accurately reflect the organisational structures and establishment set within CSH.
- Maintain complex database updates where required to accommodate changes in content i.e., Core Skills training Framework (CSTF).
- Ensure ESR/OLM system housekeeping routines and procedures for all supported systems are up to date, accurate and carried out as scheduled, whilst ensuring any discrepancies are actioned appropriately.
- Liaise with system providers raising and following up on service requests to resolve issues that may arise with regards to any of the ESR/OLM and PDR functions.
- Frequent requirement for prolonged concentration when analysing data and compiling reports. To analyse, investigate and resolve queries relating to the functionality of ESR/OLM systems. Escalate complex queries to line manager and senior team
- To support the implementation of any new ESR/OLM system developments and ongoing maintenance of additional modules including planning, testing and communication of changes across the whole organisation.
- Support the L&D senior management team to produce ad-hoc updates and reports to tight local deadlines, re-organising own workload to achieve these deadlines.
- To extract, interpret and analyse data and to report in such a format that it is easily understood by non-technical managers.
- To ensure L&D and People Service colleagues who input/extract data into and from ESR and other related systems, are kept up to date with any ESR/OLM system changes
- To provide training to managers and colleagues on the use of ESR and related modules such as PDR/ pay progression.
- Be a point of contact to support all users of the ESR/OLM and PDR system by providing knowledge and guidance to solve queries and end-user system issues within scope of practice and in a timely manner.
- Regularly review and update all corporate induction documentation to ensure accuracy of detail including welcome pack, presentations, evaluations, and associated training links.
- Be responsible for maintaining regular (daily AM/PM) monitoring of the L&D inbox, ensuring all requests are actioned and responded to in a timely manner. Signpost referrals to other colleagues within the team as relevant to nature of request.
Communications & Working Relationships
- Communicate training information to managers including presentations on ESR/OLM and PDR processes.

- Inform within agreed process timeline, any relevant organisational changes to training activity (including face to face and virtual).
