Job summary
We have a great opportunity for a respiratory technician to
join our multidisciplinary community respiratory care team in North West Surrey. The
successful candidate must have good communication and organizational skills
with a flexible approach to meet the ever-changing needs of the service.
You will be an integral part of this multi-disciplinary team providing support to the nebulizer service, performing respiratory
function tests, including spirometry, and supporting the treatment and
care of respiratory patients across both primary and secondary care.
The team also supports unplanned admission avoidance
where appropriate, provides post discharge support, community clinics, home
visits, Ambulatory Oxygen prescription, and a home Non-Invasive ventilation
service.
The
current climate has brought about new innovative ways of working which have
enhanced the quality and variety of service delivery provided both now and in
the future.

The CSH Adult Respiratory
Care Team (RCT) provides specialist clinical advice and care, supporting the
delivery of commissioned activities to adult patients within the North West
Surrey area.
The post holder will
work as part of the established (RCT) by supporting active case management to
patients and carers within their home environment, at pulmonary rehabilitation
programmes, during oxygen assessments and at specialist clinics/community
hubs. The post will provide clinical and
administrative support to the clinical team.
