Band 4 Senior Childrens
Community Carer
Are you a night owl who has a passion for supporting children
with additional health needs?
Do you have a comprehensive range of clinical experience and
skills gained through working with children?
An exciting opportunity to work with children with additional
health needs including tracheostomies and ventilators in the community has
arisen. You will have the ability to share your knowledge and experience whilst
supporting more junior members of staff.
On occasion we may also have opportunities for limited day hours
across split shifts as well please ask on applying.
Your role will be to provide clinical care to ensure the childs
safety during a 9 hour night shift. As we are a Surrey-wide service you will
need access to a car with business insurance to travel to the childrens homes
anywhere within the county.
Previous experience is desirable however not essential as full
competency training is provided; your
induction training will be between 3-6 months supporting you to achieve lone
working in the childs home. Training will consist of mandatory training including
clinical competencies, Care Certificate and shadowing experienced staff.
