Job summary

Beacon House is seeking a compassionate and motivatedBand 5 Registered Nurseto join our nurse-led clinic supporting people experiencing homelessness and severe social exclusion. This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver high-quality, person-centred healthcare in a trauma-informed, non-judgemental environment.

The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support Guests with complex physical health needs, health inequalities, and barriers to accessing mainstream healthcare.

Main duties of the job

  • Deliver safe, effective, and evidence-based nursing care within the nurse-led clinic

  • Undertake clinical assessments, observations, wound care, and health checks

  • Support long-term condition management (e.g. respiratory disease, cardiovascular risk, infections)

  • Administer vaccinations and medicines in line with PGDs and local protocols

  • Provide smoking cessation and health promotion interventions

  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical records using SystmOne

  • Identify safeguarding concerns and escalate appropriately

  • Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, outreach teams, housing providers, and voluntary agencies

  • Support engagement of guests who may be anxious, disengaged, or distrustful of services

  • Contribute to service development, audit, and quality improvement

  • Maintain professional standards in line with the NMC Code of Conduct
