Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passion person to help us coordinate the support of children, young people and families access to mental health and emotional wellbeing services, manage smooth administration of the service and ensure excellent customer service and communications with beneficiaries and referring agencies.

Main duties of the job

To support the smooth administration of the Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing Service.

To work as a point of contact for children, young people and families specifically those needing to access the Children and Young Peoples Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing Service.

To support the delivery of The Junctions Children and Young Peoples Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing Service, which includes Early Intervention and Prevention, CYP IAPT and Trauma Focussed Services.

SUPPORT: Support will be provided by the CYP Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing Manager who will carry out regular supervision.

Job description

Job responsibilities

To work to achieve positive outcomes for children, young people and families including excellent customer service skills through administrative functions, enabling accurate and efficient communication.

Work as directed by the Service Manager to support referral, assessments, and therapeutic appointments including efficient, uploading referral and clarifying information and processes to external referrers, diary management for services with a high dependency on throughput, and communication to children, young people and families.

Support the completion of management information reports to meet programme/ projectrequirements.

Ensure the management information system is completed in a timely way and quality checks are carried out.

Provide excellent communications with all stakeholders as required, using telephone, ICT and written communications.

Support service staff as directed by the operations manager with administrative functions

Undertake all work in accordance with The Junctions polices and practice including but not withstanding Information Security, Health and Safety, Risk Management

Ensure that the highest standards of customer care are maintained at all times

Positively promote the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and ensure that that safeguarding is recognised as everyones responsibility.

Work and adhere to The Junctions values at all times.

To undertake other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time commensurate with the post.

  • Professional qualification relevant to the post at, or equivalent to, that of level 2 (ofqual) or above e.g. in customer service, business administration etc.

Desirable

  • Vehicle licence and access to a vehicle

Experience

  • Recent experience supporting services with administration tasks.
  • Experience of using management information systems
  • Experience of working on computerised spreadsheets and database systems.
  • Experience of working with a range of stakeholders

Desirable

  • Experience monitoring of external funding
  • Experience of successfully contributing to external reports.
  • Experience of producing promotional material
  • Experience of administration within services for vulnerable people.
  • Experience of working in the Third Sector
