Job summary
Would you like to work in a genuinely rewarding organisation?
Nottinghamshire Hospice offers staff the unique privilege to walk alongside patients and their families at this significant time of their lives while providing compassionate care and support. We deliver high-quality, excellent palliative care for patients across Nottinghamshire for those living with a life-limiting condition. We care for patients, families and their friends, both before and after death.
Most people are cared for in their own home & our goal is to help people make the most of their lives, in ways that are important to THEM. This care may sometimes include coming into the Hospice as part of our wellbeing and reablement offer.
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Quality Lead to join our Care Services Team.
Main duties of the job
Your working days will be predominantly Monday - Friday between the hours of 8.00am-5.00pm with some evening meetings and participation in the on-call rota.
This is a new and exciting vacancy and will require the successful candidate to work hands-on from a clinical perspective at times to ensure that Nottinghamshire Hospice delivers high-quality, patient-centred care aligned with our values and regulatory requirements. The role will support the Director of Care Services with quality assurance, clinical governance, and service improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence across Care Services. As a senior nurse, the Quality Lead will work collaboratively with the clinical teams to ensure that all clinical operations meet the highest standards of safety, effectiveness, and compassion. The post holder will be supported to maintain their clinical and professional competencies and will participate in the On Call clinical rota. The successful candidate will need to be a Registered Adult Nurse, with extensive post registration experience as well as proven knowledge and experience of CQC Inspections, clinical governance and continuous quality improvement.
