Job summary

As an IPS Team Leader, you will manage a small team of Employment Specialists. You will work closely with the Employment Support Services Manager and clinical teams to ensure the smooth running of your service, providing timely reporting and case studies to support this.

Main duties of the job

You will need a good understanding of the challenges faced by those with mental health issues seeking to obtain or retain employment, as well as experience supervising a small team. You will need to be organised and have an analytical approach, with strong communication skills.

  • Experience of supervising a team of staff and volunteers.
  • Experience of working with people who may be vulnerable with diverse and complex needs.
  • Qualified Mental Health First Aider, already holding a valid certified qualification or willingness to undertake this during probation period.
  • Experience of working with IT systems including Customer Relationship Management Systems.
