Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic Bank Receptionist to join our
established team here at Glenridding Health Centre. The role is ideal for someone who is reliable, flexible, a
team player and enjoys working with the public. We require our reception team
to work with autonomy and a high degree of confidentiality, sensitivity,
discretion, empathy and tact.
You'll be working as part of our fabulous administration
and reception team, and will contribute to delivering high-quality support for
patients. We pride ourselves on being responsive, understanding, and doing the
best that we can to address the needs of our patients, and are looking for
someone like-minded to join us. We're caring, inclusive, and a great bunch to
work with.
This is a bank role to cover annual leave, sickness and any gaps in the rota. The practice is open between 08:00 and 18:30 Monday to Friday.

Main duties of the job
Your main duties can
include but are not limited to, greeting and directing patients, patient
registration, booking appointments, processing of information (electronic and
hard copy),assisting patients as required, answering the phones, administering
repeat prescriptions and general everyday administration duties.
You will be the central
point of contact for patients and we need someone who can provide general
assistance to the Practice team and project a positive and friendly image to
patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.
