As a Registered Nurse, you'll play a crucial role in our mission to provide safe and effective abortion and contraception care, including Vasectomy, while upholding the MSI UK values of minimal intervention. Working closely with the Clinical Services Matron and Clinical Team Leader, you'll contribute to our client-centred approach and ensure that reproductive rights are respected and supported.
Your work will be hands-on and fast-paced, allowing you to further develop and refine your clinical and professional skills. We welcome applications from both experienced nurses and those who are newly qualified, and if you're a newly qualified nurse or midwife, our i-belong Preceptorship Programme will provide you with an excellent foundation to kickstart your career in nursing and midwifery.
Main duties of the job
Once fully trained, your role will encompass a variety of tasks, including working independently in both surgical and community treatment centres in Crawley, Bognor Regis and Hastings. Through our comprehensive training, you'll have the opportunity to expand your competencies, mastering skills such as ultrasound scanning, implant and coil fitting, and more. As you progress and develop your skills, you'll be rewarded for your growth and achievements within MSI UK.
You can expect to work in a centre that performs both Early Medical Termination of Pregnancy (EMA) up to 9 weeks and 6 days, in addition to Surgical Termination of Pregnancy (SToP) up to 23 weeks and 6 days (legal limit) and Vasectomy procedures.
