Main duties of the job
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Development Practitioner to join our 0-19 Service. This role is crucial in supporting children, young people, and families by promoting health, wellbeing, and developmental progress. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care, assessments, and interventions tailored to individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide developmental assessments and interventions for children aged 0-8.
- Support families with tailored advice and guidance on child development.
- Collaborate with health visitors, school nurses, and other professionals to ensure holistic care.
- Facilitate group sessions and one-to-one support for children and parents.
- Identify and respond to safeguarding concerns following local policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
