Are you a dietetic graduate or Band 5 Dietitian looking for an exciting and fulfilling career? Locala Community Dietetics Team in South Kirklees is offering a fantastic permanent position for a dynamic and passionate Dietitian to join our team!

About the Role
This is a unique opportunity for both established Band 5 dietitians and newly qualified graduates. You will have the chance to work with a diverse caseload, providing vital nutritional support and developing your skills in a community setting. Our close-knit team will support you every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Your Own Caseload:Provide high-quality assessment, management, treatment, and advice to patients at risk of malnutrition.
- Deliver Innovative Care:Implement a food-first approach, complemented by the appropriate use of oral nutritional supplements.
- Collaborate Across Sectors:Work with colleagues in health, social care, local authority, and other agencies including care companies to meet patient needs effectively.
- Optimise Resources:Ensure the efficient and effective use of team resources.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Managing a caseload of community patients requiring oral nutrition support.
- Collaborating with Allied Health Professionals (AHPs), social care, and nursing colleagues.
- Offering support through virtual, telephone, and face-to-face consultations.
- Supporting student placements.

As a Band 5 you will be supported in your role with regular supervision & training opportunities.
This post is subject to a 6-month probationary period, and youmustbe able to fulfil the travel requirements of the post.
