Job summary

The purpose of this role is to be responsible for leading and coordinating comprehensive office management systems across the Rennie Grove Peace Patient services directorate including

You will work at Grove House, St Albans, however travel between all Rennie Grove and Peace offices will be required as part of this role so a car and driving licence will be essential.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £32,321 per annum

Closing: 27th November 2023 at 12 noon

Main duties of the job

  • Responsible for providing high quality personal assistant (PA) exec level service to the Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) and Medical Director (MD).
  • Support and coordinate the work of the Patient Services Assistant Directors.
  • Contribute to the day to day running of the patient services administration operations, ensuring effective internal and external liaison and communications processes are in place.
  • Lead by example ensuring high quality standards and best practice administration/secretarial support and office systems that are in place and flexible to meet the business needs.
  • Line manage the Rennie Grove Peace Hospice dedicated Patient services department administrators, which work across our 4 sites.
  • Participate in the development of patient services key priorities and operation plans, ensuring agreed time scales are adhered to.
  • Providing secretarial support to relevant CLT internal governance and operational meetings.
  • Encourage a supportive culture that encourages the highest possible standards of professional conduct.
  • Acting as a Rennie Grove Peace ambassador within the community.
