Clinical Educator - Immunisation and Vaccination Training

Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Clinical Educator to join our growing Tees Valley Training for Health team, delivering high-quality Immunisation and Vaccination training to primary care staff across the Tees Valley.

You will deliver both initial and update immunisation sessions for clinical and non-clinical learners, supporting them to develop safe, evidence-based practice. Working within your professional code of conduct and scope of competence, youll uphold the highest standards of training and professionalism, guided by our organisational policies and commitment to quality.

In addition to your core responsibilities, you may occasionally be required to assist in other departments within the organisation to support service delivery.

There may also be scope to develop and facilitate training in the future on:

  • Cervical Screening
  • ECG
  • Phlebotomy
  • Introduction to Long-Term Condition Management
  • Wound Care

This job will require you to travel around our ICP area (Darlington, Hartlepool, Stockton, Middlesbrough, Redcar & Cleveland). It is a zero-hours contract.

Main duties of the job

The purpose of this role is to provide high-quality education and training that supports the development and confidence of the primary care workforce, ensuring learners can safely and effectively deliver vaccination programmes.
