Teesside Together is excited to be actively recruiting for Administrators to join our dynamic team providing gold standard sexual health care to patients across Teesside.
From reception duties and back-office support, to inputting data into medical records and processing test results, you will play a vital role in our team's work.
We are looking for a dedicated team-player who believes in putting the patient first and working at all times to improve the health of local people.
There are multiple positions available and we will consider applicants for up to 30 hours a week.
Main duties of the job
As an Administrator, you will maintain administrative systems and work in a variety of settings within the service, including undertaking reception duties, offering back-office support, manning the helpline.
You will also play a key role in maintaining patient confidentiality, ensuring a safe and respectful environment, working with the team to ensure patients are accessing appropriate care and treatment in a timely manner.

Job responsibilities
In accordance with service requirements, you will:
- Perform reception desk duties, including, but not limited to:
- Greeting and registering patients
- Booking appointments
- Handling general enquiries from patients, healthcare professionals, and the public
- Manage incoming calls, dealing with enquiries or signposting to other team members as appropriate.
- Recording messages to clinical team members, ensuring that they are accurate and passed to the relevant team member.
- Sending appointment reminders to patients attending all of our sites, using the appropriate digital system.
- Processing postal test results, matching unallocated results to the corresponding patient records and actioning them, where necessary.
- Dealing effectively with incoming and outgoing post, including distributing incoming post to appropriate team members.
- Running reports from the SystmOne clinical system, on a regular and ad-hoc basis.
- Managing patient records and results to a high standard of data quality, including ensuring contact details are accurate and assisting with data input.
- Booking translators for appointments, where necessary.
- Producing letters, as required.
- Supporting with the administrative needs of the spoke clinics.
Professional Development
- Keep up to date with all mandatory training to ensure compliance and competence.
- Attend training courses in house, online, and externally, to develop expertise and further knowledge.
- Take responsibility for updating, documenting and maintaining your own knowledge and skills framework, and sharing professional development with Teesside Together.
- Express needs or desire for further training and work within own remit at all times.
- Participate in appraisals, performance reviews and professional development plans on an ongoing basis with Teesside Together when required.
