We are recruiting a Clinical Nurse Manager, offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Band 6 Senior Nurse to step into a leadership role within our Community Hospice at Home team across Yorkshire.
Salary:Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale (aligned with AFC) Band 7 - £47,810 - £54,710 per annum (increasing to £49,387 - £56,515 per annum from 1st April 2026)
Hours/Contract: Full Time 37.5 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Based: Hybrid: Home/Offices in Bradford & York

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior clinical nurse to step into a pivotal leadership role within Marie Curies Hospice Care at Home services across Yorkshire. As Clinical Nurse Manager, you'll provide strong clinical leadership and professional line management to a large, remote workforce, championing high quality, compassionate end of life care across the region.
Working closely with the Head of Operations, you'll lead and oversee a range of community-based services, supported by a team of 5 Senior Nurses. You'll ensure teams are well trained, supported and resourced to deliver safe, effective care, while also playing a key role in workforce planning, recruitment and, where required, managing investigations or disciplinary processes.
You'll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, District Nursing colleagues, the Marie Curie Coordination Centre, and our wider nursing and healthcare assistant workforce to deliver a proactive, joined up approach to patient care. As a confident and credible leader, you'll act as the clinical voice for Marie Curie across local NHS palliative and end of life care networks, helping to shape services, influence strategy and identify future development opportunities.
Alongside this, you'll take responsibility for clinical governance, incident management and quality improvement, contributing as a senior leader within the Yorkshire Place Based Leadership Team and participating in the managerial oncall rota.

What were looking for:
- A Registered Nurse with Level 1 registration
- Recent experience in palliative care and ideally proven experience of remotely managing a large clinical team
- Understanding of the specific needs of patients in the EOL phase, together with a firm understanding of community working
- Leadership and Management experience and quality and governance incident and complaint management
- Service Development and Audit
- A full driving license with access to a vehicle insured for business use and a willingness to travel across Yorkshire
