Job summary
We are recruiting for a Registered Nurse to join our Cardiff & the Vale Hospice IPU Team in Penarth for a fixed term period of 1-year.
Youll be part of a supportive team that truly cares about you and your development.Using a patient-centred approach and evidenced based practice, assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care and co-ordinate care from admission to discharge. You will be expected to administer medication and treatment as prescribed in accordance with the NMCs and the Charitys policies and guidelines. You will also provide emotional, psychological and spiritual support for patients and carers.
Main duties of the job
We will consider applications from newly qualified nurses with a genuine passion for end-of-life care and a foundation of skills and experience that could potentially be supported into the role.

Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale Band 5 (aligned with AFC) £31,516 - £38,364 pro rata per annum + enhancements
Contract: Fixed-Term, 12-months Maternity Leave - Both Full time - 37.5 hours per week and Part-time 22.5 hours per week.Must be available for days, night and weekend shifts.
Based: Cardiff and the Vale Hospice
