Main duties of the job
Were looking for a compassionate and motivated Chef to join our Facilities team on anasandwhen basis, supporting our kitchen during periods of annual leave, sickness, or increased service demand. Youll help prepare nutritious, homecooked meals for patients, visitors, volunteers, and colleaguescontributing directly to the warm, supportive atmosphere our hospice is known for.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys flexible working and wants to use their culinary skills to make a positive impact

Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale Band 3 (aligned with AFC) £12.94 - £13.80 per hour,
Contract: As & When basis
Based: Cardiff and the Vale Hospice

What we are looking for:
- NVQ Level 2 in Food Production and Cooking(or equivalent City & Guilds 706/1 & 706/2) essential requirement
- Strong cooking skills with the ability to prepare varied, highquality menus
- A caring, adaptable approach and excellent customer service
- Experience in catering environments; healthcare experience is welcome but not required
- Confidence working independently and taking responsibility for kitchen operations during shifts
