Job summary

We are recruiting for a Hub Coordinator to join one of three services across London and the Home Counties.

Main duties of the job

Join our team as a Hub Coordinator and play a vital role in keeping our community services running smoothly. As the central link between patients, families, clinicians and partners, youll ensure every referral, rota and update flows efficiently through the service. Its a fastpaced, peoplefocused role where your organisation, communication and problemsolving skills help make sure patients receive the right care at the right time.

Job responsibilities

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, between the hours of 08:00-22:00.

Contract: Full-time Permanent

Salary: £24,465 per annum (pro rata), plus a range of Marie Curie benefits.

Location: London (remote), Caterham (on-site) or Hampshire (on-site)

As a Hub Coordinator, you'll be the friendly, organised first point of contact for our Marie Curie services making sure patients receive timely, seamless support. You'll coordinate referrals, schedule and allocate nurses, keep our systems accurate and up to date, and communicate confidently with families, clinicians and partners. Working at the heart of our clinical support hub, you'll juggle fastmoving priorities, solve problems on the spot, and help ensure every patient gets the care they need, when they need it.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience of working within a customer services environment
  • IT Literacy Microsoft Word Excel Email and internet
  • Excellent communication, inter-personal and organisational skills
  • Ability to solve problems and take proactive action to address issues
  • Willing to work with a degree of flexibility according to the needs of the trainee & the charity
  • Producing management and statistical reports
  • Positive and professional attitude
  • A desire to help others, work towards targets and develop their skills
