Job summary
We're looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join our team in Ceredigion providing compassionate, high-quality end-of-life care during nights shifts.
Main duties of the job
As a Healthcare Assistant, you'll be a vital part of a multidisciplinary team delivering holistic, person-centred end of life care. Working under the guidance of registered professionals, you'll support patients and those important to them with personal care, symptom management, and emotional support. You'll contribute to care planning, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain a safe and dignified environment. This is a compassionate and hands-on role where you'll make a meaningful difference in people's lives during their final stages, while also supporting their loved ones through grief and bereavement.

Qualifications
Essential
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent Level 2 qualification (e.g. NCFE, BTEC), plus functional skills in numeracy and literacy at Level 2. At least 6 months of recent care delivery experience in a health or social care setting.
Desirable
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent Level 2 qualification (e.g. NCFE, BTEC), plus functional skills in numeracy and literacy at Level 2
