We are recruiting for a Senior Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our REACT Team at Bradford Hospice
Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale, aligned with AFC BAND 8a £55,690 to £62,682 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full Time 37.5 hours per week
Based: Marie Curie Bradford Hospice

This role is integral to the local clinical leadership team, ensuring effective care delivery across all clinical departments. You will bring a high level of clinical expertise and knowledge to guarantee that care is both safe and effective, aligning with the ethos of person-centred care.
As a Senior Advanced Clinical Practitioner, you will be responsible for a defined patient caseload. You will support nursing and junior medical staff in developing their skills within the palliative care environment, lead specific service developments across the place base, and promote this service both internally and externally to Marie Curie. You will also be accountable for developing a job plan that ensures time for clinical duties, education, research, and audits within the role. Additionally, the post holder will provide cover for the medical on-call rota out of hours.
What were looking for:
- Registered Clinician (Registered Nurse, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker) Masters qualification in Advanced Practice (regulatory body approved e.g., NMC, HPC)
- Evidence of appropriate continuing professional development to maintain up to date knowledge and ongoing competence in all aspects of the Advanced Clinical Practitioner role
- Experience working as an autonomous practitioner in specialist palliative care profiling health and social needs within the speciality
- Apply advanced theoretical, evidence based and practical knowledge to the clinical care of patients with terminal illness when delivering and shaping services.
- Advanced communication skills to identify complex needs, respond and engage other professionals as appropriate
- Ability to work flexibly to meet service needs
