Job summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our community team in London. This position will primarily be based at the Roy Shaw Centre, London and work towards providing holistic, person centred, end of life care and support needs of patients and those important to them.

Main duties of the job

Your duties will include monitoring and assisting in maintain patients skin integrity and personal hygiene, conducting nutrition assessments, attending to comfort needs to assist with rest/sleep, provide support with mobility, monitor vitals and overall promote and maintain a clean and tidy care environment.

You will hold person centred conversations, practice empathetic communication with the person and those important to them in a supportive, professional manner and provide high quality personal care and support to enhance wellbeing.

Salary:£24,169 per Annum, Plus High-Cost Area Supplement

  • National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 2 in Health and Social Care OR an equivalent alternative Level 2 Qualification
  • Functional skills at level 2 in numeracy and literacy or equivalent

Desirable
