Job summary

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a motivational leader to develop the unit as part of the wider service strategy in order for us to best meet the needs of those patients who require care on the ward. Working in collaboration with other clinical managers you will support the development of services and and will facilitate change and development across the service to meet the needs of the local population

Salary:Marie Curie Pay Scale, aligned with AFC BAND 7 £43,742 - £50,056 pro rata, per annum, plus enhancements

Hours/Contract: Full Time 37.5 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

Based: Liverpool Hospice

As part of the Marie Curie North Star strategy we are moving forward with an integrated model of working and place-based area of care. This is a fantastic development opportunity for a Ward Manager to work with the team at a transformational phase in our development as we move towards an integrated place based system of care across the region

We are looking for a motivational leader to develop the unit as part of the wider service strategy in order for us to best meet the needs of those patients who require care on the ward. Working in collaboration with other clinical managers you will support the development of services and and will facilitate change and development across the service to meet the needs of the local population

The post holder is required to work with the senior leadership team and colleagues to continuously improve the standard of care and ensure governance structures are embedded throughout the services
