Job summary

Join our clinical support team as a Coordinator LCCC! You'll be the primary point of contact for all Marie Curie Services in your designated geographical area.

Main duties of the job

Your role involves coordinating and booking care, maintaining accurate data in operational and clinical systems, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery.

Hours:Full time 37.5 hours a week (over 7 days to cover weekend/Bank Holiday shifts) / Part time (over 7 days to cover weekend/Bank Holiday shifts)

  • An excellent communicator able to work effectively with patients, families, frontline staff and professional partners
  • Good IT skills with a willingness to learn our systems and processes
  • High attention to detail in a fast-moving environment helping keep our team and patients safe
  • A good team player able to work flexibly in an environment where our patients needs are always changing.

Day-to-day, you'll play a crucial role in our hub team, ensuring that Marie Curie nurses can provide vital care to patients in need at the end of life. Your responsibilities will include accurately gathering patient details from healthcare professionals and coordinating with our team members to ensure timely assistance for those in need.

Your direct communication with families and patients will be paramount, as you strive to understand their preferences and keep them informed throughout the care process.

Additionally, you'll maintain up-to-date information in our systems, contributing to the safety and support of both patients and staff. Your dedication will help us meet our legal and contractual obligations while ensuring that those under our care receive the support they deserve.
